"Ariel Pink is subject....to the now synchronic singular truth of pop; bringing-forth that it is infinite and always consequential." - John Maus
Inspired by the eccentric genius of R. Steve Moore and Gary Wilson before him, Ariel Pink's stage originated in the studio bedroom, but has now expanded across the globe since his home-crafted CD-R music found receptive ears and helping hands from kindred souls Animal Collective in 2003. Over the last 13 plus years, Ariel has brilliantly refreshed the familiar, creating an extended, compelling aural document through his ever-evolving live recordings and performances. From his early releases like House Arrest, Loverboy, Scared Famous, The Doldrums, and Worn Copy to newer installments like pom pom, Ariel Pink has defied pigeonholing, and established a profoundly unique body of work .
Ariel Pink has collaborated in recent years with Weyes Blood, Theophilus London, R. Stevie Moore, Jason Falkner, Dam Funk, E-40, Kim Fowley, Puro Instinct, and SoKo, among others.
