WORLD PREMIERE: New Brion Starr Video for "The Heart Is a Loaded Gun"
Brion Starr — equally steeped in tradition as he is dedicated to bold innovation — has swiftly become one of our favorite up-and-coming artists here at WMF. Back in May, we were delighted to share the fascinating and in-depth conversation we had with Brion, where we discussed his debut album Global Identity, film work, and more. Brion’s track and video “Wonderful” from that album already feel at home in our informal list of top tracks this year.
It follows, then, that when Brion gave us the opportunity to premiere his newest video titled “The Heart is a Loaded Gun”, we jumped. The proverbial leap is one we don’t regret of course, since the desert-set video not only ably complements the track, but also stands on its own merits as a striking visual statement that ranks as one of the year’s most memorable and significant.
