Celeste X has shared new single “NEED2TEASE” on Valentine’s Day, quite appropriately. This is welcome news here at WMF, since we’re keenly interested in any project or endeavor that has the name “Celeste X” attached to it. We scratched the surface of Celeste X’s many talents late last year in an impromptu Celeste x Bobby Weirdo interview, and are delighted we have new Celeste X music to delve into in 2022.

Celeste shared the following exclusive info with WMF about her new single, “NEED2TEASE”:

“This single is called “NEED2TEASE” and it is the first song I have released since 2020. My good friends LeeLee and Jon [Richmond] produced the beat (they’re mega cool and mega talented). I actually went to high school with LeeLee, we used to play talent shows together as teens. No original songs though! Always covers. I remember once we mixed up a Katy Perry song with Marilyn Manson in our cover medley for a show (we lost).

LeeLee sent me this beat at the beginning of quarantine 2020 and it's the first time we have ever collaborated on anything aside from a high school talent show. She also makes her own music and we’re working on another song where she has a verse in it. For this song I wanted the lyrics to be like looking through a dirty magazine but with a horror twist. “NEED2TEASE” isn’t about anything deep— just a sex monster with a disease to tease using compulsive sexual suggestiveness. In other words, [it’s] like getting possessed by a Hustler magazine.

I am sooo thankful to have many creative and talented friends in my life. The last two years have been filled with so much self reflection. With so many tragedies happening in a row, I have gained such a new perspective on life and the importance of creativity in my life. This track drops on Valentine’s day, but I will definitely be releasing many more new tracks all this year.”
