Feb 20 Senon Williams Studio Presents Perks on Vapor: A Drawing Show (Eddie Ruscha and Senon Williams)

This past weekend, we were lucky enough to be on site for the fantastic one-day Perks on Vapor art show in Los Angeles, which featured work by Senon Williams and Eddie Ruscha. More specifically, the special event took place at the Western Avenue Collective, and was presented by Senon Williams Studio. Both Senon Williams and Eddie Ruscha were both present of course, as were other inspirational and illustrious artists, including Francesca Gabbiani and Ross Harris (WMF spotted Devin Flynn [Pixeltan] as well, though weren’t quick enough with the Polaroid to document his attendance with a photo).

Besides creating his renowned visual art, Eddie Ruscha is the brain and heart behind some of our all-time favorite music projects and monikers here at WMF, including (but absolutely not limited to) E Ruscha V, Secret Circuit, and remarkable duo Doctor Fluorescent (along with Scott Gilmore). The most recent E Ruscha V album E Ruscha V & The Only Thingz, Too is out via Good Morning Tapes, and comes with our enthusiastic recommendation.

Senon Williams is familiar to music fans though his work with internationally-acclaimed projects Dengue Fever Radar Bros. Senon’s book of aphoristic phrasing, Words Don’t Mean Much, is available via Hat & Beard Press
