World Premiere: Ultraflex Share Single and Video "Full of Lust"

Icelandic-Norwegian duo Ultralfex has had a remarkably prolific year in 2020, leading up to their debut album Visions of Ultraflex (out October 30 via Street Pulse Records). Kari Jahnsen and Katrín Helga Andrésdóttir (who also work under separate solo monikers Farao and Special-K, respectively), have teamed up again for another fantastic new track and video, “Full of Lust”, which we are exceptionally pleased to premiere here at WMF.

Shot at the pair’s local Berlin gym, Squash 2000, this second video in the project’s Okay Kaya-directed trilogy showcases what Ultraflex described for us as “the romantic sport of squash.” On the music side of things, Ultraflex shares that the melody and synth solo to “Full of Lust” were inspired by Maj Britt Andersen’s Norwegian children’s song “Sure Sivert”, and interpolated here with Andersen’s permission. The resulting pop gem is everything we’ve quickly come to expect from Ultraflex, and a 2020 highlight.

Another quality visual and aural installment in the rapidly-growing Ultraflex body of work, we’re more excited than ever for the duo’s full-length debut Visions of Ultraflex on October 30, via Street Pulse Records.
