Premiere: Miss World Shares "I Found a Girl" Video

We are delighted to premiere Miss World’s brand new video and cover of Roye’L’s cult classic “I Found a Girl”. This fab update to the Roye’L gem is produced by Miss World and Tony Price, and Miss World directed and edited the accompanying video (incorporating the original public-access performance by Roye'L).

Miss World shared the following with WMF about the inspiration and process behind the “I Found a Girl” video and cover:

“Roye'L's an underrated cult legend. I instantly fell in love with this song and video when it was being shared amongst my friends years ago. He performed this song on a cable access TV talent show in the 80s. I thought it was so incredible, and Tony and I decided to record a version of it in my bedroom in London. We used a gold microphone. Hopefully it'll make its way back to Roye'L, cuz I often wonder where he is now. Like, I need to know, did he get the girl?!”
