Ultraflex Does Some Spring Cleaning, Shares New Single & Video "Mi Vuoi" (feat. Kuntessa) and Announces Sophomore Album

Icelandic-Norwegian dynamic duo Ultraflex sneaked in some spring cleaning in a way only they can, and just in time to share new single and video “Mi Vuoi (feat. Kuntessa)”, available now on all platforms via Street Pulse. We’ve appreciated the work of both Special-K and Farao (Katrín Helga Andrésdóttir and Kari Jahnsen, respectively) since Ultraflex debut single “Olympic Sweat” in 2020, and jumped at the chance to have an in-depth interview with them a couple years ago. Ultraflex shared single “Rhodos” back in May, and the release of “Mi Vuoi” accompanies the excellent news that sophomore Ultraflex album Infinite Wellness arrives October 7, 2022.

According to Ultraflex, the pair’s “new trance-inspired Eurodance anthem ‘Mi Vuoi’ (feat. Kuntessa) draws inspiration from various opposing musical trends and follows the philosophy ‘more is more’. The beat is inspired by the classic 90s Eurodance anthem ‘Better Off Alone’ by Alice Deejay, topped with manic yet soothing saxophone solos by Tumi Magnússon, while Kuntessa moans and yearns in Italian.”

Douglas Dare shot the “Mi Vuoi” video in London, “[depicting] Ultraflex in their apartment doing weekly chores.”
